      I say *should* be, but in reality since they have refused to allow four Catalan political prisoners to take their seats in parliament, the required majority is reduced. They are basically looking for other parties to abstain.

        Disgracefully, one of the pro-independence parties in Catalonia, ERC, is considering supporting the Sanchez's candidacy (or abstaining), despite its own leader being one of the political prisoners. What they expect to gain from this is unclear.
