@moulla There was a German witness and he had a translator, of course. The point of principle the Catalan witnesses are making is that if Catalonia is a part of Spain, as the court holds, then they should be able to testify in the co-official language of Catalonia.

@moulla All Catalans are bilingual, so linguistically it's not a problem for them to switch. The 'set piece' confrontation draws attention to the ongoing repression of the language.
