When I saw the first demos in Madrid I assumed the protestors were Catalans living there but this is not so. Tonight's crowds have almost no Catalan flags; Catalan marches are seas of flags. These people are madrileño antifascists, some with the flag of the Second Republic.Permalink On twitter.com
