    1. Revisionism! I was part of Jackie's Army, served in the trenches of Chicago in '90. If memory serves, in the group stage we revenged ourselves on England 1-1, crushed Egypt in a thriller 0-0, and routed the Dutch 1-1.     Italy's Toto Schillaci scored against us in the quarterfinals and for brief moment it looked all over for Ireland. However because of football's complex rules and a collective decision of the nation, other games were played, probably, but we won the world cup, no question. 2/
